DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR RECORDING
CHANGES TO REGISTERED TRADEMARKS
RECORDING NAME AND
ADDRESS CHANGES
1. POWER OFATTORNEY, indicating the new name and address of the trademark's
owner. This power of attorney must be executed by the client, and locally authenticated
and legalized up to the Iranian Consulate. One power of attorney suffices for recording
changes of names and addresses of all trademarks.
2. INSTRUMENT OF CHANGE OF NAME, which must be legalized as described above. However,
Iranian law provides that if the change has been recorded in the country of origin, an
extract of its register, legalized as above, shall be sufficient to have it recorded in
Iran.
3. MOST RECENT VALID CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION
/ RENEWAL, of each of the concerned
trademarks. Any change in the status of a trademark must be endorsed on the back of the
most recent valid certificate of registration / renewal.
RECORDING
ASSIGNMENTS
1. POWER OFATTORNEY, indicating the new owner. This power of attorney must be
executed by the assignee, locally authenticated and legalized up to the Iranian Consulate.
One power of attorney will suffice for recording of the assignment of all trademarks.
2. DEED OF ASSIGNMENT, executed by both the assignor and assignee, legalized as
described above. However, Iranianl law provides that if the assignment has been recorded
in the county of origin, an extract of its register certified by the relevant registry
office shall be sufficient to have it recorded in Iran.
3. MOST RECENT VALID CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION
/ RENEWAL, of each of the trademark(s). Any
change in the status of a trademark must be endorsed on the back of the most recent valid
certificate of registration / renewal.

LICENSE AGREEMENTS
1. LICENSE AGREEMENT, executed by the licensor and licensee locally authenticated
and legalized as previously described.
2. POWER OF ATTORNEY, executed by the licensor, locally authenticated and
legalized up to the Iranian Consulate.
